The six-member fact-finding committee constituted to look into the violence in West Bengal during the Ram Navami procession submitted its interim report to Governor CV Ananda Bose on Monday and said that he has assured to look into it.
Mamata said that the situation in the violent-hit areas has been brought under control and alleged that the BJP is sending a fact-finding team" to "incite violence".
The six-member fact-finding Committee on alleged violation of human rights in West Bengal led by former Patna High Court Chief Justice Narsimha Reddy on Monday in its interim report said that the riots during Ram Navami procession were "pre-planned, orchestrated and instigated".
"They (police) are saying that CrPC section 144 has been imposed but nothing is here. They are scared because they will be exposed," Narasimha Reddy, former Chief Justice of Patna High Court said while speaking to ANI.
