After Sri Lanka's series triumph over Bangladesh, skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto asked the visitors to move on from the timed-out incident that occurred during the World Cup 2023.
Following Bangladesh's 8-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the second T20I match at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet on Wednesday, the Bengal Tigers skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto said that he was happy with the way they bowled.
Najmul Hossain Shanto's unbeaten 53-run knock helped Bangladesh seal an 8-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the second T20I match at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet on Wednesday.
Ahead of Bangladesh's three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, the Bengal Tigers skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto hoped that it would be a "good" series.
HM Rehman said, "It was peaceful here today. There was disturbance at only one place. A few women were sloganeering; they were spoken to. No further arrests were made today. In connection with yesterday's incident, 10 people were arrested and presented before the court."
