The spray cans contain nitrous oxide gas which helps push the whipped cream out. The gas is sometimes referred to as laughing gas or "whippit" and can have a euphoric effect when inhaled.
"Today in the morning at around 6:00 am, UTP Dr Satendra Jain slipped and fell down in the bathroom of the Medical Inspection (MI) room of the hospital of Central Jail (CJ-7), where he was kept under observation for general weakness," as per an official statement from the prison officials
The incident took place on the flight on Tuesday (May 16) and the injured passengers received medical assistance on arrival at the Sydney airport. No passenger was hospitalised, the DGCA said.
