Singer Kanhaiya Mittal arrived to take a holy dip at the Sangam Triveni during the Maha Kumbh 2025. He praised and expressed gratitude towards the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for all his efforts and hard work to ensure proper arrangement and safety.
Faith and devotion took centre stage at Maha Kumbh, as more than 4.4 million devotees took a holy dip on the eighth day of the Kumbh Mela till 2 pm on Monday.
Among a congregation of over 5.182 million devotees gathered at the Sangam Triveni, 1 million Kalpvasis and 4.182 million pilgrims took a holy dip by 6 PM.
Speaking to ANI, the CM said "Maha Kumbh reminds us of our thousand-year-old culture. We can see here what the Prime Minister Narendra Modi used to say about development and heritage. People are coming here in large numbers. I took a holy bath and I am also feeling very good..."

Despite the chilly weather and dense fog, a large number of devotees gathered at the sacred Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj to witness the morning Ganga Aarti on the seventh day of the Maha Kumbh Mela.
More than 2.5 million pilgrims visited the ongoing Maha Kumbh being held in the city of Prayagraj on the sixth day till 4 PM, as per the data released.
Speaking to ANI, Ayodhya Commissioner Gaurav Dayal said, "The devotees visiting the Maha Kumbh have been visiting Ayodhya temple afterwards. Especially after the holy baths, a huge influx of crowds is being witnessed here. We are expecting large crowds after the Amrit Snan on Mauni Amavasya
Bhakti Narasimha Swami, a former Christian turned Sanatan Sanyasi from Johannesburg, shares his spiritual journey at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, expressing his excitement to join millions in the holy dip at Triveni Sangam.
According to the data released, by 6 pm on Thursday, over 3 million people visited the Maha Kumbh and took a holy dip at the Sangam, with more than 1 million Kalpvasis and 2 million additional pilgrims.
