Delhi Police on Sunday arrested two persons including a history-sheeter for allegedly possessing arms and ammunition at Kiran Garden, near Nawada Metro Station in New Delhi.
Delhi Police has arrested a notorious robber who was wanted in a 10-month-old case of broad daylight armed robbery of Rs 54 lakh from Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, officials said on Thursday.
"I have never been convicted in any case, yet the ED says I'm a history-sheeter, part of organised crime.. how can that be said,"Sukesh said through Video conferencing.
The incident pertains to the Sadi Gawaron village where a 52-year-old man identified as Vinod Chaudhary and resident of Simaria was found dead by the police.
Police arrested three persons after rival groups clashed on National Highway-21 in the Mehandipur Balaji police station area in Dausa district recently as could be seen in video that went viral.
Mirza had arrived at Mirzapur on a motorcycle to give food to his family members and other labourers present at a farm, when he was attacked by a group. The attackers used lathi, sharp weapons and also fired at Mirza.
An encounter took place in Fatehgarh, Lucknow, between police personnel from Special Operations Group (SOG) and a history-sheeter, ending in the death of the accused, police informed on Sunday.
