Shah emphasised the government's developmental initiatives taken up earlier. "We have set up a medical park in Nalagarh which will give jobs to 10,000 people. We've also built the Atal tunnel that'll promote tourism," he said.
Union Home Minister in his address to the poll-bound Himachal Pradesh put forth BJP's achievements and attacked the Congress alleging it made the state its "tourist spot".
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said he previous Congress governments left no stone unturned to loot Himachal, while the Bharatiya Janata Party government developed every area.

During the past 24 hours, cash worth Rs 31,80,800 and around 2109 litres of illicit liquor worth Rs 6,16,832 was seized during the checks carried out by the police department at various places in the state.
