Shiv Pratap Shukla was appointed as the new Governor of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday. Shiv Pratap Shukla will be the 29th Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Shiv Pratap Shukla is a resident of Rudrapur in the Gorakhpur district of UP. He is a former Finance Minister of India.
Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Shiv Pratap Shukla had also been appointed as chairman of the Ethics Committee of Rajya Sabha in July 2020. The Ethics Committee is in charge of reviewing complaints against the behaviour and activities of MPs.
