The World Bank has approved USD 200 million in loans for Himachal Pradesh to facilitate power sector reforms in the state, besides increasing the share of renewable energy generation.
Goa is likely to receive moderate to heavy spells of rain on Wednesday, said India Meteorological Department (IMD). It said that clouds are present over the talukas of the North Goa and South Goa districts, and they are moving toward the east.
The Himachal Pradesh Government transferred 18 officers including 9 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) Officers and 9 Himachal Pradesh (HP) State Service Officers on the proposal of the Civil Services Board in view of public interest.

According to the weather department, different areas of Kangra, Chamba, Bilaspur, Una, Hamirpur, Mandi, Kullu, Shimla, and Solan districts are expected to get light rainfall with thunderstorms in the next 2-3 hours.
On Monday, a 19-year-old drowned while taking a bath in the Pabbar River, located under the limits of Saraswati Nagar Police station, in Hatkoti village (Jubbal), according to the police.

Amid the incessant rain in the North Indian hill state, Himachal Pradesh, over 300 roads have been blocked. The Indian Meteorological Department, on Monday, issued an orange alert for the next 24 hours in the state.
