Heavy rains have battered Himachal Pradesh, triggering floods and landslides across the state with more than 90 people having died in the state due to rain-related incidents since June 24.
Following the rise in water level, bus services have been suspended for now and buses from the other states are not being allowed to enter the bus terminal.
"I thanked Union Minister Amit Shah for providing timely help to people of Himachal amid heavy floods. I sought more help from him as a lot of damaged has been caused in the state. He assured that the Centre will send all possible aid for the state," said Thakur.
During his meeting with Shah, he expressed heartfelt gratitude for the immediate assistance provided to the flood-affected state of Himachal Pradesh due to heavy rainfall.
