As many as 10 lakh Agniveers are ready to serve the borders to protect India thanks to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said as he addressed election rallies in Hamirpur, Mandi and Solan districts of Himachal Pradesh.
"I am 100 per cent confident of BJP's win. This is my confidence not just being a BJP worker but on the basis of the sentiment of the common man. Common man understands that only BJP can do good for them," said Jitendra Singh.
Shah emphasised the government's developmental initiatives taken up earlier. "We have set up a medical park in Nalagarh which will give jobs to 10,000 people. We've also built the Atal tunnel that'll promote tourism," he said.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said he previous Congress governments left no stone unturned to loot Himachal, while the Bharatiya Janata Party government developed every area.
During the past 24 hours, cash worth Rs 31,80,800 and around 2109 litres of illicit liquor worth Rs 6,16,832 was seized during the checks carried out by the police department at various places in the state.
In the meeting, various issues with regard to preventive and enforcement action for ensuring compliance with the Model Code of Conduct were discussed in detail.
