Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday claimed that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is circulating a forged letter with motives to influence voting patterns in favour of its party in the State.
As the voting began for 68 Assembly seats, Himachal Pradesh Congress chief Pratibha Singh on Saturday said that everyone will cast their vote today and cooperate to form a new government in the state.
The Congress will aggressively campaign for the change of power in Himachal Pradesh on the last day of campaigning on Thursday with the participation of star campaigners including party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra holding a door-to-door campaign in Shimla.
Pilot, who was campaigning for Congress in the Himachal Assembly polls, said that the voters are "inclined towards the party" while also claiming that the ruling party (BJP) has "not done any work" in the last five years.
Addressing a public rally in Himachal's Una, Shah said, "Congress didn't respect our religious places for appeasement politics. PM Modi laid the foundation of Ram Janmabhoomi and redeveloped the Kashi corridor and religious places in Ujjain, Kedarnath and Badrinath."
