The BSF troops, in coordination with the Punjab Police, recovered one packet of heroin during a search operation near the village Tindiwala in Ferozepur, the forces said.
According to the information, the arrested individuals were identified as 21-year-old Md. Khursid Alam from Lilong Litan Makhong in Thoubal district, and a 37-year-old Md. Akbar from Khergao Awang Leikai in Imphal East. Both were arrested in a follow-up operation.
