India on Saturday conducted a joint meeting of finance and health ministers from G20 member countries in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district where participants welcomed the multi-year work plan of the task force, approved under the Indian Presidency.

The G20 Health Minister’s Meeting at Gujarat’s Gandhinagar on Saturday witnessed the unanimous adoption of The Outcome Document, agreed to by all G20 delegations.

PM Modi spoke about India's comprehensive approach to healthcare, embracing traditional medicine, expanding healthcare infrastructure, and ensuring affordable healthcare for all.
He said that the US is interested in seeing India increase its capacity. He stated that the US wants to make sure India continues to be a good partner in the exchange of pharmaceuticals and the growth of pharmaceutical products.
