Congress MP Manickam Tagore on Monday said that the racial killing of Tripura youth in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is a result of "normalised hate" against the minorities and people from the Northeast.
Rajya Sabha MP and senior advocate Kapil Sibal on Monday asked Union Home Minister Amit Shah to address the murder of Tripura-based youth Anjel Chakma in Uttarakhand's Dehradun.
In a post on X on Saturday, Khanna, a member of the US House of Representatives from California, reacted to the killing of Das, a 27-year-old Hindu garment worker, and stressed the need for a strong and clear response to such incidents.
"What we see in the last 2 years is the return of the venom that Pakistan introduces in the body politics that reflects in Bangladesh. Hate is not an ideology as hate cannot sustain itself," Akbar told ANI.

"When a few right-wing violent groups, acting in the name of the majority, indulge in attacks and riots, even as the Prime Minister participates in Christmas celebrations, it sends a disturbing message to the nation," Stalin posted on X.
"He is a victim of the politics of hate propagated by the Sangh Parivar throughout the country. He was subjected to mob lynching, accused of being a Bangladeshi," MB Rajesh said.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramiah, following the passage of the Hate Speech and Hate Crimes Prevention Bill, 2025, in both Houses of the state legislature, accused the BJP of making provocative speeches and claimed the reason behind the party's opposition to the law.
Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara, reacting to the BJP's opposition to the Hate Speech and Hate Crimes Prevention Bill, 2025, alleged that the BJP is politicising the issue and asserted that the bill does not intend to target any specific individual.
"They hate Mahatma Gandhi's name, and they hate the laws enacted during the Congress regime. I don't understand why they rushed this through," Ramesh said, adding that the law was enacted without consultations with state governments.
