Delhi Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) President Saurabh Bharadwaj on Saturday alleged that attempts were made to spread religious hatred during Christmas celebrations in parts of the national capital.
"What we see in the last 2 years is the return of the venom that Pakistan introduces in the body politics that reflects in Bangladesh. Hate is not an ideology as hate cannot sustain itself," Akbar told ANI.
Former Minister of State for External Affairs MJ Akbar on Friday strongly criticised the interim government in Bangladesh, accusing it of abetting "hatred of Hindus as an ideology" through appeasement of extremist forces amid a series of lynchings and attacks on minorities in the country.
Speaking with ANI, he said, "It really pinches us because Christians are peace-loving communities," emphasising forgiveness and prayer for those responsible.

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh criticised Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi over his remarks in Germany, accusing the latter of "hatching a conspiracy to defame" India's institutions on foreign soil.
