Haridwar administration on Friday confiscated movable and immovable properties worth Rs 2.60 crores of seven drug smugglers as part of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's Drug-free Devbhoomi mission.
As per information, 900 ration packets each consisting of 5 kgs of rice, 5 kg of flour, oil and 2,350 blankets were given to the affected people of the Joshimath area in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Many families have been affected due to the land subsidence in the area.

According to SK Singh the Superintendent of Police, Haridwar (Rural) the mishap took place while the cricketer was on his way to Roorkee from Delhi, and his car collided with the divider on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal.
"Cricketer Rishabh Pant's car met with an accident between Manglaur and Narsan in Haridwar district. He has been shifted to Max Hospital Dehradun after giving primary treatment at Roorkee Civil Hospital. The accident took place on NH-58 of Manglaur PS area," Haridwar SP (Rural). CM Dhami
Officials said that they received complaints from victims from Haridwar and other parts of the country, on the basis of which a raid was conducted and nabbed the four suspects.
Ghats at the world-famous Har Ki Pauri which used to be full of devotees are seen as empty. Like every year, a bonfire was arranged by the administration for the convenience of devotees, but this time perhaps the municipal officials have not arranged a bonfire.
