Indian midfielder Hardik Singh has been named as the Captain of the Hockey India League (HIL) Governing Council Team for the forthcoming Men's Hockey India League scheduled to begin on 3rd January 2026 at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Hockey Stadium, Chennai, as per an HIL release.
