An all-round performance from Hardik Pandya provided Team India with a 50-run victory over England in the first T20I of the three-match series, here at Southampton on Thursday.
Hardik smashed 51 runs off 33 balls which took India's total to 198/8 in the first innings. Later, he went on to scalp four wickets and restricted England at 148.
Pacer Umran Malik, who earned his maiden cap in the first T20I against Ireland, had a forgetful outing with the ball as he conceded 14 runs in a single over and went wicketless.
