Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri on Thursday announced a series of key energy agreements signed during India Energy Week 2025, in New Delhi.
In continuation of the accelerated E&P activities and adhering to the prescribed timelines, the minister announces the OALP Bid Round-X. This is the largest bid round in terms of acreage offered in a single OALP bid round under the HELP regime.
Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, on Tuesday emphasized that oil and gas will continue to play an important role in the energy sector, even as renewable energy becomes the dominant source.
"India has diversified its sources of Oil supply, earlier we were importing crude oil from 27 countries now we are importing from 39 countries. If I can buy some from some source and I can buy it at a cheaper price, we are the winners," the Union Minister said in a BBC interview.
Speaking to ANI, Puri stated, "They (AAP) tried to fool the people of Delhi for 10 years and did not even give the people what they could have given. AAP will disintegrate in its current form because the control is with Kejriwal. You ask Atishi, how much freedom to make decisions she has."
