Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone handled total of 32 MMT (million metric tonne) of cargo in March, implying yearly growth of 9.5 per cent, it said on Wednesday.
JNPA in a statement said the port had crossed 6 MTEUs on March 30, 2023. During the corresponding period last year, the port handled 5.68 MTEUs, which was also a record then. It accounts for an increase of 6.4 per cent in the total throughput.
The growth in cargo handling achieved by Paradip Port is the highest among all Ports, both major and non-major ports of the country, the Chairman said.
