After the Varanasi Court dismissed the Hindu side's plea for an additional survey by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at the Gyanvapi complex, spiritual leader Jagadguru Shri Rambhadracharya on Saturday said that they will approach the High Court or the Supreme Court.
Hindu side advocate Vijay Shankar Rastogi said, "The court has rejected our application for an additional survey of the protection of the whole Gyanvapi area by the ASI... We will go to the High Court against this decision...within the time limitation, within 30 days."

The Supreme Court on Monday refused to stay the Allahabad High Court order which had upheld the Varanasi district court's order allowing Hindus to perform prayers of deities inside the 'Vyas Tehkhana', southern celler of Gyanvapi mosque.
The Hindu's side in the Gyanvapi case has filed a petition in the Varanasi District Court, urging it to protect the 'Vyas Ka Tehkhana' (cellar), where the Hindus have been worshipping after the court's order in January.
