The Gwalior Crime Branch in February busted an interstate gang and arrested eight persons involved in the paper leak from a hotel on Tekanpur Jhansi Highway in the district. The team also recovered exam papers, laptops, mobile phones, and printers from the spot.
8 live cartridges in a pistol 32 bore magazine, one country-made katta 315 bore loaded and one live cartridge, 7 live cartridges in a pistol 32 bore magazine were also seized from their possession.
Eight accused arrested in connection with Madhya Pradesh NHM (National Health Mission) Contractual Staff Nurse recruitment exam paper leak were produced before the district court on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in Dubahi village under Karahiya police station in the district on Monday night. The accused is identified as Sheru Jatav (30), a resident of the same village.
The crime branch arrested the accused from a hotel on Tekanpur Jhansi Highway in the district. The team also recovered exam paper, laptop, mobile phones, and printers from the spot.
The case was registered under IPC sections 153A and 295 against the accused at Gwalior Crime Branch police station on the complaint of the Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha.
