Following Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday inaugurating the supply of PNG (Piped Natural Gas) to 111 villages in the national capital, Delhi Minister Ashish Sood said that a new chapter has been started with 111 villages.
Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa hit out at former Delhi Chief Minister Atishi after the latter alleged that the AQI had reached 500 on Thursday morning.
AAP leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Delhi Assembly, Atish, wrote to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday, demanding exemplary action against DPS Dwarka and directing the immediate withdrawal of orders for the expulsion of 34 students.
"In the first phase, 130 villages got pipeline connections, and today, in the second phase, 111 villages are getting pipeline connections. Now 116 villages are left, and I promise you that by the end of this year, they will also receive pipeline connections," Gupta said.
Speaking on the situation of landfills in the country, Sirsa stated that the Delhi Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta was working on it and assured that by October 2025, 20 lakh metric tonnes of legacy garbage would be removed.
"Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has given instructions to install complaint boxes in DM, SDM and Sub-Registrar offices. These will be inspected directly by the Chief Minister's Office, so that public complaints reach the government directly," said the CMO on X.

A fire broke out on the second and third floors of the dental wing of BM Gupta Hospital, a nursing home in Delhi's Uttam Nagar area, on Tuesday evening.
Speaking to ANI, Satyajeet Gupta, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East, said that the incident was reported at around 3.15 pm, after which several fire tenders were deployed at the spot.
