Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Monday flagged off a National Cadet Corps (NCC) bicycle rally in Gandhinagar, being organised to commemorate the 75 years of NCC this year.
The International Kite Festival was held in Ahmedabad on Sunday. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel attended the International Kite Festival. Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel flew a kite on this occasion.
After the inauguration, the Chief Minister visited various publisher stalls, including Pustak Parab. During this visit, he also purchased books, including the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and Ramayana, from one of the stalls.
CM Patel said, "Generally, there is an understanding among people that Vibrant Summit leads to the development of big industries, employment opportunities, GDP and economic progress. This is true, but at the same time, PM has made Vibrant Summit a take-off point for holistic development".
After the launch of 201 buses in Gujarat, state Home Minister Harsh Sanghavi on Thursday said that more than 20,000 people would benefit from the buses.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the state's wildlife board, in which various aspects relating to environment conservation, human-animal conflict, rescue and rehabilitation of animals were discussed upon.
CM Patel allocated Rs 455.35 crore under the Golden Jubilee Chief Minister Urban Development Scheme, which was started by the Prime Minister in the year 2010 as the then Chief Minister, to realize the name of organized and planned urban development.
