Beijing [China], February 27 (ANI): As there is still a huge stigma surrounding the LGBTIQ+ community in China, a popular LGBTQ+ dating app, Grindr, which was taken off from the app stores of the country, has decided to tighten the privacy for the queer athletes competing in Beijing.
Beijing [China], February 23 (ANI): China has removed one of the most popular gay dating apps, Grindr from several of its app stores further encroaching upon the basic rights of the LGBT community, reported a Canada-based thinktank, International Forum for Rights and Security (IFFRAS).
Washington [US], January 26 (ANI): Grindr, which is a location-based social networking and online dating app for LGBTQ people, is going to be fined by the Norwegian Data Protection Authority for illegally sharing private information about its users to advertisers.
Geneva [Switzerland], December 31 (ANI): Contrary to earlier concerns, a novel has shown that people who met their partners on dating applications have often stronger long-term relationship goals and that these new ways of meeting people encourage socio-educational and geographical mixing.
