The Public Works Minister of Himachal Pradesh Vikramaditya Singh on Saturday expressed deep grief over the tragic helicopter crash in Uttarakhand, in which seven people lost their lives, and called for urgent reforms and enhanced safety measures in the country's aviation sector.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Sunday expressed grief over the death of a pilot from Jaipur and six other pilgrims in a helicopter crash near Kedarnath Dham, calling the incident "extremely sad" and praying for strength to the bereaved families.
"Very sad news has been received about a helicopter crash in Rudraprayag district. SDRF, local administration, and other rescue teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations," Dhami said.
