The strategic forces of the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force in the first week of April, jointly conducted a Multi Domain Exercise in the Eastern Theatre to validate joint plans for strategic airlift of Specialised Forces employing IAF fixed and rotary wing platforms by landing/dropping
The IAF sent five Mirage 2000 fighters along with IL-78 mid-air refueller aircraft, and two C-17 Globemaster. The aim of the exercise was to participate in diverse fighter aircraft engagements and learn from the best practices of various Air Forces.
IAF is participating with Five Mirage-2000 jets, two C-17 Globemaster-III strategic airlift planes and one IL-78 mid-air refuelling aircraft, along with around 100 IAF personnel, flew from the Jamnagar air-base for the exercise at Waddington in the UK.
As the multilateral air exercise, Desert flag concluded on Friday, the Korean Air Force interacted with the members of the Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent, the official media coordination centre of IAF stated in a tweet.
"In Kuno National Park today, the number of Cheetahs is going to increase. I thank PM Modi from the bottom of my heart, it is his vision. 12 Cheetahs will be rehabilitated to Kuno and total number will become 20," CM Chouhan said.
