All India Sufi Sajjadanashin Council Chairman Syed Naseruddin Chishty on Saturday lashed out at Pakistan over the Pahalgam terror attack, calling it a country that provides "five-star accommodation to terrorists" and reiterated that India will respond to the attack.
Congress leader Ghulam Ahmad Mir on Tuesday expressed his deep sadness over the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, while raising questions about the effectiveness of the security system in the region.
The leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi along with leaders like Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury and Ghulam Ahmad Mir were present in the meeting.
Jammu and Kashmir Congress MLA Ghulam Ahmad Mir praised the J-K budget and said it is based on "overall development and welfare." Mir added that there could not have been a better budget at present.
Mir emphasised that Jammu and Kashmir's current status as a Union Territory is a major obstacle to effectively serving the people. According to Mir, the restoration of statehood is not a partisan issue but rather a people's demand. He clarified that this demand has nothing to do with the BJP
Speaking to ANI, Patwari said, "When it comes to protecting the Constitution, every member of Congress party will always be ready to commit to it. Today, BJP is again raising questions on reservation, about amending the Constitution and Amit Shah ji insulted Ambedkar ji as per a conspiracy.
