According to the official, an explosive device concealed amid rubbish exploded on Saturday afternoon when an Afghan street worker was collecting trash on the streets of Maidan Shar, killing the man.
Six people have been killed and at least 8 injured in seven provinces across Afghanistan due to recent rains and flooding, TOLOnews reported citing the Taliban-led State Ministry for Disaster Management.
According to Rahimi, the incidents took place in Kapisa, Maidan Wardak, Takhar, Badakhshan, Ghor, Kandahar, Kunar, Nuristan, Laghman, Paktia, Khost, Daikundi and Nangarhar.
Speaking to reporters in Washington D.C., the US State Department's Spokesman Mathew Miller also said that the World Food Program halted distribution in two districts of Ghazni province from January to April when local officials attempted to interfere in distribution.
"The approval for the acquisition of the next-gen missile vessels would help to "replace the ageing missile vessels and we needed a replacement. It will give a boost to the Navy and the nation," he added.
The mobile coastal missile batteries were cleared by the Defence Ministry recently and a contract was signed with the BrahMos Aerospace corporation on March 30 in this regard.
The explosion took place on March 19, in a residential house in Ghorqand village, in the vicinity of Ferozkoh, the provincial capital of Ghor province.
