Under the leadership of the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Rajasthan Assembly, Gulabchand Kataria, Udaipur BJP officials and BJP workers, protested by wearing the masks of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, along with that of ministers of the Gehlot cabinet.
He sent his registration letter to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, senior party leader Sachin Pilot and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, besides PCC chief GS Dotasra stating that he tried to serve the party through various activities but in vain.

"The accused came from outside while some were from Rajasthan as well. It is very unfortunate that some gangs are still operating in the state. We are fighting against gangsters from Haryana and other states," CM Gehlot said while addressing the media after attending a meeting of the Congres
The incident took place days after KC Venugopal held a meeting with the two leaders of the state and held hands with Gehlot and Pilot during a press conference in an attempt to show unity in Jaipur on November 29. Venugopal had claimed that the party is united in the state.
