Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on Wednesday met Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari during the ongoing Monsoon Session in Parliament. He highlighted the deteriorating condition of NH 37 in Assam to the Union Minister.
"The entire country is upset with the budget. People from all the states are upset because the BJP has failed to solve their basic issues. The compulsion of the government is clearly visible in this budget. INDIA bloc is protesting against the injustice done in the budget...," Gogoi said
Delhi Congress member Gaurav Gogoi spoke on the protest being held by the INDIA bloc in the Parliament complex Wednesday against the discriminatory Union budget, which was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
"The problem with PM Modi is that he identifies Northeast states as small states with multiple groups fighting each other. He and HM Amit Shah don't understand the complexity of the region or the aspirations of the people," Gogoi said in a post on 'X'.
