In a scathing attack on the Chhattisgarh government over the deteriorating law and order situation, BJP MLA Ajay Chandrakar on Monday and said that the season of gangrape is ongoing currently in the state, and thereafter, the season of murder will start.
The convicts first killed the woman with a screwdriver and then strangulated her. Thereafter they killed her two children and then robbed the house. This matter pertains to the area of Khyala police station.
The case has been registered under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at the Trombay police station.

The Commission chairperson has also asked the Manipur DGP Rajiv Singh to invoke the Indian Penal Code (IPC)'s section 376D (gangrape), section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) including others, if found true, against culprits in the FIR.
