"All the preparations for Char Dham Yatra have been completed. More than 12 lakh people have registered, and we have made all arrangements to ensure that everyone's journey is smooth," CM Dhami told ANI.
The Chardham Yatra is scheduled to begin on April 22 with the opening of the Yamunotri and Gangotri temples. Doors of Kedarnath temple will open on April 25 and Badrinath on April 27.
"Till now, more than 6.34 lakh devotees have registered for the Char Dham Yatra. Of these, 2.41 lakh registrations have been done for Kedarnath Dham and 2.01 lakh for Badrinath Dham, 95,107 for Yamanotri and 96,449 for Gangotri Dham", said Uttarakhand Tourism Development Council.

The idols in the temple premises, the entrance and the pathway leading to the temple have been completely covered in white snow as the mercury dropped to -14.8 degrees Celsius
