As the G20 meeting in Kashmir approaches this month, increased hue and cry against India from neighbouring Pakistan has plunged to new levels. This is backed by several terror attacks in Poonch, Rajouri.
Around 50 delegates are expected to participate in the G-20 meeting in Srinagar, which will allow India to refute Pakistan's claims of human rights violations in the Kashmir Valley.
The arrival of more than 100 young delegates from different countries in the Union Territory of Ladakh to participate in the Y20 summit has marked the beginning of G20 meetings scheduled to be held in the Himalayan region.
For the first time after the abrogation of the Articles 370 and 35-A, Jammu and Kashmir will be hosting an international event in which delegates from G20 member states, guest countries and several international organizations will participate.

"Now if you look at the 100 meetings we have held, we have had these meetings in 41 different cities across the length and breadth of our country. It covers 28 states and union territories," Shringla said.
With more than 12,300 delegates from over 110 nations, the in-person participation in India's G20 Presidency is the largest ever hosted by any G20 country so far.
"G20 meetings are being organized in entire India, in all cities and parts of India. It is therefore natural to hold the meetings in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh because these are inalienable parts of India," Arindam Bagchi said during the MEA Weekly Media Briefing on Thursday.
The Union Finance Minister will be attending meetings with Finance Ministers and Central Bankers from across the world. The meeting is scheduled to take place today at IMF Headquarters in Washington.
During her stay, Sitharaman will be attending the 2023 Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), along with G20 meetings, Investor/ Bilateral meetings, and other associated meetings.
The third meeting of the G20 Education Working Group is scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar during April 27-29, where delegates from member countries would participate
