Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the 3rd division of the French Army at Fort Ganteaume in Marseille where he was briefed upon the role of the future roadmap of joint training between India and France, the Ministry of Defence said on Wednesday.

The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Gen Upendra Dwivedi has departed for an official visit to France from February 24 to 27, as part of efforts to "bolster" India-France defence cooperation, said an official statement from the Ministry of Defence.
