Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge vowed to protect democracy and the Constitution, which he termed the two biggest shields for 140 crore Indians, as he greeted the country on the occasion of Independence Day.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the reforms undertaken by the central government in the past 10 years and said that this has increased self-confidence in the youth and their desire to take giant leaps.
