Kerala Police has arrested three people in the Jind district in Haryana on Saturday in connection with a case of cheating, impersonation and forgery in a competition exam conducted at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre in Thiruvananthapuram.

"Pertaining to the rise in forgery cases in land-related sales deeds and for carrying out a quick investigation of registered cases in the Dehradun district, a three-member SIT is being constituted under the Stamp and Registration department," the Uttarakhand government said in a press note.
"After the Embassy of France detected the fraud and informed the agency, a case has been registered against both the couples under Indian Penal Code sections of fraud, forgery criminal conspiracy and under passport act," said a senior official.
