The response from Islamabad came days after the American Jewish Congress (AJC), an association of American Jews organised to defend Jewish interests abroad, announced that the first shipment of food products from Pakistan was offloaded in Israel.
The two sides during the 7th round of India-Denmark Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) in Copenhagen on Saturday, undertook a comprehensive review of their bilateral relations.
Ministry of External Affairs Secretary (East) Saurabh Kumar also discussed cooperation in wide-ranging areas including trade, tech, renewable, space, mining, and education with Secretary General for Foreign Policy of Chile Alex Wetzig Abdale.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, including developments in the neighbourhoods of India and Albania, G20 and the Ukraine conflict.
Pakistan's Supreme Court Justice Munib Akhtar on Saturday, virtually addressed the 18th meeting of Chief Justices of the Supreme Courts of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.
"As one of the active members of the SCO, Pakistan regularly participates in all SCO activities and constructively contributes to their outcomes," Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said in a statement.
The two countries during the 5th Foreign Office Consultations on Monday reviewed the ongoing bilateral cooperation. Both sides expressed satisfaction at the growing pace of engagement, according to a release issued by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
Shehbaz Sharif tweeted, "The reports of the drowning of over two dozen Pakistanis in a boat tragedy in Italy are deeply concerning & worrisome. I have directed Foreign Office to ascertain facts as early as possible & take the nation into confidence."
Shehbaz Sharif has issued instructions to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to slash down a number of foreign missions abroad and reduce their offices, staff, and other measures to cut down expenditures by 15 per cent.
During the consultations held in New Delhi on Monday, both sides agreed to hold the next round of Foreign Office Consultations on a mutually convenient date in Astana, according to an official release.
