Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday said that the interim budget 2024-25 presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will fulfil the aspirations of 'Viksit Bharat'.
Following the announcement of the interim budget 2024-25, the Congress targeted the central government ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), stating that federalism has been weakened by the government during the past years.
In the current geopolitical scenario and with the twin objective of promoting self-reliance and exports, the defence budget has touched Rs 6,21,540.85 crore in the financial year 2024-25.
"The government of India established 3000 new ITIs. A large number of new institutions of higher learning, namely 7 IITs, 16 IIITs, 7 IIMs, 15 AIIMS and 390 universities, have been set up." added the Finance Minister.
