A chartered aircraft flying from Mumbai to Baramati crash-landed at around 8.45 am on Wednesday, killing all five people on board. The deceased included Ajit Pawar, his personal security officer, a flight attendant and two crew members, including pilot Vidip Jadhav.
"The incident happened today and is very unfortunate. Shambhavi came to me for Commercial Licensed Pilot training and completed her instructor rating. With me, she had flown 40-50 hours. Shambhavi joined my training centre before COVID, maybe in 2018-19," Mahajan told ANI.
"An investigation must take place because the accident is unnatural. All the leaders and corporate people fly for urgent work. It was a small plane, so why did this happen? It should be investigated," Kharge stated.
