The flood situation in Assam has again worsened as nearly 27, 000 people in six districts have been affected by the deluge and according to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA).
While discussing the impact of floods and droughts in the Legislative Assembly's monsoon session on Friday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath provided information about the state government's efforts to compensate farmers for their losses and ensure their protection.
