West Bengal Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Monday accused Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of sending her supporters to allegedly attack BJP leaders and workers.
The Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly and BJP leader R Ashoka on Friday criticised the Karnataka government for its poor handling of the flood situation in the state, and said the administration is "sleeping" and "in a coma."

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Raksha Nikhil Khadse, along with former Union Minister Preneet Kaur, visited the flood-affected areas of Samana and Sanaur constituencies on Tuesday to review the situation on the ground and interact with affected families.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh reviewed flood-hit areas in Kathua, saying fields remain submerged but no casualties occurred. He said nanotech-based water filter plants worth Rs 50 lakh each have been deployed to provide safe drinking water and prevent epidemics.
