At least four people died and eight people were injured in rain-related accidents in Punjab province of Pakistan as it continued to experience heavy downpours, reported Dawn.
Amid incessant rains hitting several parts of Gujarat, the National Defence Response Forces (NDRF) team on Saturday conducted a rescue operation in the Junagadh district of the region.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert and predicted heavy rainfall in eight districts of Himachal Pradesh on Sunday, said an official.
"From Chhijarsi to Ecotech, water entered the houses in three low-lying areas. Poeple were evacuated from the houses. However, the river has not crossed the danger mark anywhere yet", said Suresh Rao A. Kulkarni, Additional Police Commissioner.
