In a post on social media X, the airlines appealed to all passengers to update their contact details in order to receive timely notifications and monitor their flight status for a well-prepared journey.
Heavy rainfall and gusty winds in Delhi have prompted major airlines, including IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Air India, to issue travel advisories warning passengers of potential disruptions to flight operations on Tuesday morning.
"Gusty wind and rain may impact flight operations to and from Delhi this morning. Please check your flight status... before heading to the airport and allow extra time for your journey," Air India posted on X.
Former Flight Operations Inspector with the DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation), Captain Prashant Dhalla, spoke to ANI on Thursday regarding the Wall Street Journal's news report on the Air India AI 171 crash that occurred in Ahmedabad last month.

Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, airspace closures have severely impacted flight operations, prompting Indian airlines Indigo, SpiceJet, Akasa Air, and Air India to cancel, divert, or delay services.
In the aftermath, flight operations at the airport were suspended until further notice, prompting the railways to step in to address the resulting travel disruption.
