Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Monday said that during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake extended an invitation to him to visit Sri Lanka, which was accepted, with dates yet to be finalised through diplomatic channels.

Congress MP Vijay Vasanth on Monday morning moved an adjournment motion notice in the Lok Sabha to discuss the detention of Tamil Nadu fishermen by Sri Lanka authorities.
The award was conferred by the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), Hyderabad to Uttarakhand for its remarkable achievements and innovative initiatives in fisheries development.
