Congress leader Sachin Pilot visited SMS Hospital in Jaipur to meet the victims of the recent fire incident and take stock of the situation on Saturday.
According to police, the fire tenders were present at the location to douse the blaze which started at a milk dairy on the ground floor of a residential building. The four deceased in the fire incident belong to the same family.
On Friday morning, a truck loaded with chemicals collided with a tanker carrying LPG and other vehicles on the Jaipur-Ajmer route, resulting in a massive fire in Jaipur.
Furthermore, Khimsar said, "A control room has been established, with a team from the Information and Technology Department assigned to identify critically injured individuals due to burns and assist their families using Aadhaar numbers, thumb impressions, and other relevant data."
"When we woke up at 5.30 in the morning, we heard a blast. Those who were able to jump out of the bus survived, while those who couldn't were burned there. A whole lane of 100-200 metres was burned," another eyewitness told ANI.
He added, "Initially, we thought it was an earthquake, but later we saw the fireballs. The flames were so intense that we couldn't approach for at least five hundred meters. One after another, the vehicles caught fire, with at least thirty-three vehicles engulfed in flames."
