According to officials, information about the incident was received early Monday at 6:30 a.m. stating that ten people had been trapped in a lift after it collapsed at a restaurant bar in the Old Rajendra Place area of Karol Bagh.
Fire safety Officers of Bakshi Ka Talab (BKT) said that they received information about the fire at around 1 PM, following which four fire tenders from the BKT Fire Station and Indiranagar Fire Station reached the spot, and brought the fire under control.
A fire broke out in the Dar Gali Bus stand area in North Kashmir's Kupwara district in the early morning hours today.
Around 15 shops and one residential house were gutted in fire. Locals and police rushed to the spot along with fire tenders, to douse off the fire.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna, Amneet Kondal told ANI that authorities received information at 12.30 pm that an oil tanker has caught fire after hitting the divider on a flyover.
A fire broke out in a slum in Zakir Hussain Nagar, Govandi area of Mumbai, on Tuesday. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation authorities.
"Some gas cylinders exploded, which led to the fire. Two persons have been injured in the incident. Police and the local administration have cordoned off the site of the incident at the very moment," ASP Rajesh Raghuvanshi said.
