A fire that broke out at a furniture shop in the Nabi Karim area of Delhi has been doused off; however, the cooling operation is still underway, said officials of Delhi Fire Service.
After a fire broke out in a shoe factory at Lawrence Road, in Delhi, Divisional Fire Officer A K Jaiswal said that all workers in the factory were evacuated and 19 fire tenders were pressed into service.
Eight fire tenders from the Gandhidham Municipality, Anjar Muncipality and Kandla Timber Association arrived at the spot upon receiving the information in order to control the fire.
