Amnesty International condemned atrocities done by Pakistani defence forces in Bannu, Pakistan, especially stressing the recent open fire incident in Bannu.
The Indian embassy in Kuwait has expressed condolences on the demise of the family of four people who were charred to death in a fire accident in Kuwait.
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) continues its robust response to the fire incident onboard the merchant vessel Maersk Frankfurt. The present position of the vessel is 17 miles from Karwar, Karnataka.
A total of 15 fire tenders rushed at 1:30 am to the polyethene manufacturing factory located in Block-G, Narela Industrial Area and the cooling process continued well into the day, officials said.
"Acting on the same, after informing the fire service, police reached the spot and extinguished the fire at the house, rescued the injured and sent them to the hospital for treatment. 3 individuals died during treatment and the other 4 are undergoing treatment," he informed.
In the recent Kuwaiti fire incident in Mangaf, in which at least 45 Indians were killed, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson assured that the injured were under proper care, adding that our embassy officials are in regular touch with the hospital authorities.
