At least two people died and three others were injured after a fire broke out in an eight-storey building in Mumbai's Borivali on Monday, the officials said.
Mumbai Fire Services rushed fire tenders to the Pavan Dham Veena Santur building after receiving information of the blaze at 12:27 pm today, an official said.
Delhi Fire Services received a call informing them of the incident at around 7.40 a.m. Upon receiving the information, a total of eight fire tenders rushed to the site and started a rescue operation, said officials.
According to information, the fire broke out at around 9 am today in the densely populated market in east Delhi and the fire department was informed at 9:05 am.
